Brian W. Wong
Brian was born and raised in Orange County. He attended UCLA where he obtained his B.S. Degree in Kinesiology in 1985. He then attended UCSF where he obtained his Post-Graduate Degree in Physical Therapy.
Brian was ranked third for academic excellence in his graduating class of 8500 at UCLA. His academic awards include:
- Summa Cum Laude (3.99 GPA)
- Departmental Highest Honors
- Departmental Outstanding Senior
- Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society
- Dean’s Honor List
Brian has specialized in manual therapy. He has developed unique techniques of joint mobilization and soft tissue mobilization which have proven to be effective. Brian loves to spend time with and get to know each patient individually. He genuinely cares and has a passion for helping each patient reach their physical therapy goals and potential. Brian believes that “State-of-the-Art Physical Therapy is not just a place where everybody knows your name, but a place where everybody is treated like family.”
Brian grew up playing competitive sports and and continues to enjoy running, skiing, snowboarding, and volleyball. He loves to rehabilitate weekend warriors of all ages as well as athletes of all skill levels to get them back into the game, safely and competitively. He passionately puts his whole heart into working with his hands on those who simply want to get relief of pain or feel their best.
When he is not running on the trails or working in the garden, you will find him spending time with his wife, daughter, and 2 sons.
