Reena J. Tenorio, PT, DPT
Reena J. Tenorio, PT, DPT was born and raised in New Mexico. After graduation, she moved to Southern California to pursue a career in the Physical Therapy field. Reena graduated from the University of New Mexico in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science, and again in 2013 with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy.
Reena focuses on performance-based Physical Therapy and rehabilitation, with an emphasis on returning athletes to their sport and individuals to their former active lifestyles. Her treatment approach uses manual therapy techniques with strength training, movement and postural reeducation and dynamic mobility training to help her patients recover from injury. Injury prevention, maintenance and improving performance are of utmost importance.
Throughout her life, Reena has participated and competed in sports such as basketball, volleyball, track and field, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and currently in Olympic weightlifting and CrossFit. She understands the importance of proper training, mobility, nutrition and maintenance to achieve success in health, performance, rehabilitation and recovery.
Reena prides herself on her desire to increase her knowledge base and continually participates in learning activities with other healthcare professionals, coaches and athletes, and stays up to date on the most recent treatment techniques.
